| WELCOME TO KING'S DAUGHTERS OF EXCELLENCE |
|
During the 80's God started talking to two women, Rina Kinnear, staying in the northern part of South Africa and Nerina Smith, right down in the south, not knowing each other. He gave them them a calling to work with women all over the world.
God gave Rina a specific calling to bring the gospel to women. She recieved a very definite calling from the Lord. He prepared her through Bible School training and other ministries. Today Rina is a accomplished speaker who is much in demand at woman's conferences all over Africa and other countries worldwide. Rina married Past. Ron Kinnear, founder of Africa Missions and joined her husband as co-director of the organisation, doing missionary work all over Africa. Their home base is in Pretoria, Gauteng. Rina is also a member of the AFM National Board. In 1995, Nerina Smith, a business woman from Cape Town, involved in the hospitality industry, staying in Cape Town, joined a South African business women's organisation. She later served on the Executive Council of this board. During this time, a prophecy was given to her that she will particularly work with women all over Africa and in other countries, teaching them business principles according to the Word of God. he Lord connected these two women in the year 2000, meeting each other through Rina's husband, at a missionary conference in Cape Town. They immediately bonded emotionally and spiritually. Through their friendship, they shared their different visions with each other and connected in their vision to establish a women's organisation with a difference. Their main aim was to empower women by means of inspired and dedicated teachers, reflecting Christ as their sole example, enabling the women to make a difference in society and to be bearers of the image of Christ. The two women shared their passion with other born again Christian Women and in May 2006 the Executive Committee of King's Daughters of Excellence was formed. The Pretoria branch was launched during the same time, with Cape Town Branch following in September 2006. These two branches had a phenominal growth and during July 2007 a very successful Women's Conference was held in Pretoria. The Port Shepstone branch of King's Daughters kicked off on Women's Day 9 August 2007 and at just after that our first branch outside South Africa where launched - this time in Harare, Zimbabwe. The rest is history. The Lord is using this organisation to impart in women's lives all over Africa and even overseas. God is Good - all the time - God is Good!!! |
